1st impression of the ek9

As you all may have guessed, i am a newbie on this forum.
Would first like to say thank you for all the walm welcomes :)

i have owned a few uk vti's during the last couple of years, but only due to the fact that i was never old, been able to get insurance for the ultimate ek9 type R.
Fortunately, i am old enough now, therefore i sold my recent vti asap! :p

Anyway.... i had my first experience of the ek9 type R today. I have hheard missed views about this car saying it isnt this 5.7 secs 0-100kph.. blah blah... let me tell you (newbies).. it is what you think the Ek9 is. :)
Nothing more and nothing less.. it performs as a 1.6... in perfection. From power to handling... the car is just awesome.
Just would like to say thanks to TypeRDunks for giving me this opportunity to experience this, and that i will be buying one soon!

Bit long, but hopefully it will help newbies(like myself) decide what the car characheristics are!:)
 
Type R dunc? how did u try one as i am wanting to buy one to but dont know anyone with a type r :(
 
Nice, my first EK9 driving impression was the same, the handling and perfomance is just superb! :)

Hope to see photos of your ek9 :ek9: soon :woot:
 
Expect another one of those threads in a month to lol :).. mr2 is nearly done getting fixed.. then to get on with selling it and searching for my Ek9 :D

well, mine is... kind of dissapointed at first with the acceleration.. but YES to the handling and build quality.

I was only dissapointed at the acceleration because the first time I've driven a type R car was my friends EG6 with a tuned B18C... This scared the **** out of me... mainly because I didn;t expect such thing from a civic. lol...

I've experienced many fast cars but this one took me by surprise.
 
oh that EG6 I drove had a 98 Spec R B18C and gear ratio... so damn rapid... if only EK9's were like that standard :p~~~~~~~~~
