advertising this engine on behalf of a good mate of mine, the only reason the engine is for sale is due to him carrying out a k20 swap. I have driven the car and it is a stunning example, engine is 100%, if you are looking to B18 your ek9 then this is the engine to go for

some blurb..........

Some background on it, you won’t get this with an engine or gearbox from a breaker or ebay!

Removed from my own UK DC2 which I’ve owned for six years now, 58k mls with proof, can be verified by VOSA. Has always been my second or third car with minimal use. Bought it from a guy locally who purchased it with only 15k mls! Chris was very sympathetic with it, always allowing it to warm up properly and not one to bounce off the limiter etc. I have kept this up, never above 3.5k RPM until oil is up to temperature and believe it or not have never hit the rev limiter, sad but I know when to change gear

Serviced more times than I can remember always using expensive 5w-40 fully synthetic oil & Honda filters. Have done a few trackdays with it so took the precaution of fitting a Moroso baffled sump, oil temp gauge, bigger rad & an oil cooler to make sure everything was kept in check. Had cambelt & tensioner changed a few years back / approx 8k mls ago & valve clearances set at the same time. Always used Super or V-power fuel, uses very little oil even on track and does not burn any.

Looking for £1500. Will come with all ancillaries and Moroso sump minus the MSD ignition, clutch, temp & fan sensor. Will re-fit the standard flywheel but can come with Exedy lightweight flywheel (only 2k old) & MSD ignition at extra cost if required.

Can arrange a courier for delivery to UK mainland if required.

How much oil is 'very little oil'?
Genuinely interested! :)

Been considering for a while,
But it's just finding a decent honest engine which this one seems...

not sure exactly but it will be very minimal if anything at all!

this is as honest as they get, Dave is very meticulous with the servicing of the car and warm up of the engine. as mentioned i have driven this a few times and is a very strong engine with no unpleasantries
