It's a Civic VTi-S Special Limited Edition only 500 made 169 BHP standard 1.8 b18c vtec engine and only in pirates black. This is a 99 year model so the small differences are the alloys and the interiors patterns also this later spec also has the kinda carbon fiber effect trim similar to the teg which is on the dash, air vents and gear knob surround.
However this one has just had a full respray, professionally done, in Honda Championship White, colour coded and door sills etc are also white. Excellent finish got a nice gloss shine to it and very eye catching. It looks mint with the new paint work and the interior is in excellent condition also, it has about 113K on the clock, the engine and gear box is excellent very strong and so is the clutch, no faults, vtec kicks in when its supposed to every time if and when pushed. Air-con has just been re-gased and very cold and also has electric sunroof. Its pretty much standard apart from cone air filter the suspension has been upgraded to the MG ZS180 shocks and springs which has improved the handling alot its firmer handles well but still very comfortable ride, I also have the rear ARB for it. The alloys in the pictures wont come with the car, it will come with the standard alloys or a set of 17's i have, buyers choice, if the buyer wants them for £190 quid on top (both front tires are near new and bridgestones).
All in all an honest car great fun to drive very very practical (loads and laods of boots space, rear seats can flod done and fits 5 people easily). Recently done;usual service, the cambelt has been changed and the clutch, the passenger side ball joint needed replacing so at the same time I did the driver side ball joint and at the same time did both anti roll bar drop linkages, and replaced the pass side track rod end. The car is now very fit and no work needed for a long long time, checks welcome. Taxed till march tested till july 09
Ideal for drivers who needs lower insurance than the teg this is group 15 or needs practicality. This is a very rare practical performance car which can also be easily upgraded, i.e Integra head and intake + plus integra gearbox, ecu would be the list of things I'd do next on this car.
Bad Bits, okay needs one headlight washer jet on the front bumper, the boot dampers are shot (about 10-15 quid from breakers) could do with new fogs, the alloys could do with a re-furb, the VTEC decals for the side need replacing but I have ordered these, and the srs light came on after i got it back from the body shop, they said the battery died when spraying the car (common thing on these cars it can happen if not carefull when jump starting i.e when the battery is dead) costs about 50 quid from Honda to switch off, the body shop has promised to do this, if not I'll do it or knock off the money.
I am Honda enthusiast and a mature driver last minute, find out that i have to pay for my entire Masters course without help so I'm reluctantly having to sell this to help towards funding my course
. For all the work done I would have liked to see more but i know times are hard so think it a fairly price at £2200 OVNO
