AEM v1 or v2

hi there just have a few questions about both reaaly and if anyone had any experences with these...
which do you class as the better intake, i know the v2 in the newer model o the answer is probley obvious.
can you run a brake booster (master cylinder stopper) with the v1 as i know you can with the v2.
all help appreciated, thanks.

Lol was waiting for someone to say that

I've got the v2. Sounds amazing but at the end of the day, it's just the intake filter. You won't get loads of gains from a filter like on gt5. I kinda regret selling my OEM set up with the spoon elbow.. It is your car end of the day and it's down to what you want from it :)
 
i have had my v1 fitted for about a week (originally bought it with oem pipe and a hks mushroom filter) i am worried the filter will get wet, take it i am right to worry??????
 
In general rain it's fine. It'll take a puddle over about 6" deep to cause you problems.
 
Hit a puddle by accident? Pull over switch off and walk home? Lol most probably look to sell it and buy something more safe :-$
 
When I got my EG6, it originally came with an AEM. I soon replaced that with a Password JDM carbon fibre intake just for peace of mind really!
