Alot of Miss Firing. Help please..

Hi lads its been a while ive been busy. I just want to see can anyone help. The other night my car missfired maybe twice very slightlly in vtec, At first I thought it was just dirty petrol. However it has gotten far worse sometimes when I try to give it vtec it will missfire 3 or 4 times in a row and is down on power.

Then sometimes it will only do it once but a much more violent missfire its kind of like slapping my foot on the brakes when I try to accelerate. And it only seems to happen in vtec when being drove hard.

Now the car was only serviced 3k km's ago and a new fuel filter about 5k km ago it is not showing any management lights or anything like that so im just wondering if anyone has any ideas it would be apprecieated. Rgds Colin.

Sounds like the ignition spark is breaking up. Could be bad plugs, or plug leads or worn rotor/rotor cap. After that id be taking a look at the distributor internal coil.
