Am i getting scammed?

Get ur man on here thats nearby to have a snoop around and see if it looks legit or just buy else where thats all u can do really

I would stay well clear.

You should set up another email address and email him under a different name to see if he has the same response, or if he thinks up of another injury.

Ha well played mate.
Yeah I wouldn't even look past the first email. I have nothing against people who arnt so fluent. But he's taking the piss.

I never buy parts from eBay, Gumtree, etc. Always from a friend, friend of a friend, member of the forum, traders, or trusted retailers. Plus there's feedback threads :nice:

I would avoid him. Not worth risking your hard-earned money, or your life for that matter. Stay safe :)

Awesome mate :nice:

There is no reason why any genuine seller wouldn't use PayPal.
There are several. One being a 3% commission for Paypal which the seller has to pay. The other being that their buyer-protection is very weak. If the seller receives the money and transfers it to his real back account and has no credit on the Paypal account then Paypal can't do ****. Been there done that (luckily with a small amount of money).

Should report to ebay or at least wind the guy up ;) tell him you're coming to collect in person, he will soon change his tune...

haha yeh that would be funny. Although not worth it anymore, just steer clear and be glad you've got such a great forum (and forum members) who "got yo back homie" :D

Thanks guys for all your feedback on this.
