mainly oil cooler related, possibly catch can. I'm new to all this fittings malarkey so just curious..

this is what I mean by the push on hose barb one btw,

Is there a big difference between the two (apart from price)? Is it just more blingy to have AN?
Is AN a lot safer than a push on hose with a clamp?
I know braided hose can fray but you can get finishers to stop that happening with the push on fittings.

The push fit ones don't need a clip, I used them on my fuel system. They are good but really hard to push on. Never used an so can't compare.

An is much better and more importantly reliable.

I've got those exact fittings for my breather system.
Don't look all that but they do the job perfect, as said REALLY hard to push on.
AN I've got for my oil cooler. I'd probably use AN for anything that's likely to leak but I do doubt the push on ones would leak aswell.
I know you want your bay to look super-duper so AN is probably where it's at for you

Proper custom made hoses made and tested by a hydraulic hose company would get my vote

A lot of lower quality AN fittings on the market now so be careful if going down that route

I bought these crimped fully assembled versions, similar to what the high pressure hydraulic machines in my work use. I was quite paranoid about my oil system relaying on hoses and fittings assembled by myself to be honest, although I'm probably over thinking it!

That's the best way by far to do it, ^:nice:
