Gonna be buying some gearbox oil soon, just wondering whats recommended, always used to hear that you should only use Honda MTF but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore... Spec of the gearbox is new OEM bearings, Synchrotech carbon synchro's and its got an OEM EK9 LSD.

Cheers!

I still use Honda mtf, it's fit for purpose and not massively expensive.
As far as I'm aware it should be ok with your carbon syncros

I've got some MFT you can have. PM me your delivery details and I'll get shipped out to you.

I use Torco gearbox fluid.. heard problems with Honda MTF combined with carbon synchros.

Honda MTF doesn't solve the crunching and grinding problems all B series transmissions have. I used Honda MTF when I replaced all my synchros and I was not impressed until I filled up with Amsoil MTF. It is now silky smooth like the K series.
