Recently got my EK9 back on the road for the first time since 2015. Any of the OGs from the glory days of 06/07ish-12/13ish still about?

Still here since 2008

Nice clean one you have there, love the OG TE's
How you finding it after a six year lay off?

Yo dude, saw on Baird's insta you'd got it back out. Hows it going?

I'm still kicking about, live down in the midlands now though. Steve's still got the coupe too, not sure how much he's on here these days, too busy fixing the RX7 haha!

Thanks dude. Can't go wrong with the CW and Volk bronze combo.

It's been great to drive. The car got a refresh in 2019 with new:

sump gasket, oil and filter change
air filter
rocker cover gasket
spark plugs
fuel filter
radiator
front and rear brake pads
front and rear brake disks

As well as getting a lot of the bodywork issues sorted (and swapping out those terrible replica Spoon wing mirrors!), so it's driving and looking well, I think.

Yes man, so sick that you still have your car! Recent updates look amazing. Steve's as well. How long have you had it now?

I was actually living in the midlands as well since August 2018, but I came back to Scotland for lockdown v1 and have been back and forth since. Although last time I was there was December 2020. Crazy times.

Indeed man, been a long time since I have piloted my 9er. K24 turbo sounds insane, I'l check your build thread if you have one.

Haha cheers man, much appreciated! Want to sort out the bodywork but just bought a house so unfortunately thats the priority, still hoping to get a few track days in this year though. It'll be 11 years next week...christ time flies doesn't it. You must be at 8/9 years with the 9?

Oh no way! Where abouts were you? There's quite a few of the old lot down here now, BitBap (Dean) lives about 10 mins from me. Yeah I didn't get back to Edinburgh for 18 months during all the mess, mental really.

Loving the ek9, as said above its been a while you posting

I am still here messing with Honda’s lol

Still here only put the ek9 back on the Road myself in the last couple of weeks

Come on here now and again to see if anythings going on sold my ek9 6 years ago or more white van man now

I’ve had my second one for the past 3 years, a 99 CW. My previous one which I had 12 years ago was a 00 Vsm Rx so I feel I’ve downgraded a bit! It’s still on the roads over here in Ireland now with a turbo motor.

Been here since 08’ not active until recently. I had the best 9 I regret selling so much heard it was broken for parts too. Well back now with a yellow one, looking forward to the fun with it again, had so many super/hyper cars but Honda joy is something special truly lol

Yes dude, that is so rad that you are still about! You must have had so many different Hondas by now. Always remember you had multiple cars on the go at once haha.

haha still about man, had so many Honda’s over time an still have a collection, few are getting built in between ha

How are things with you? Hope you keeping well?

I recently revived an old Integra GS-R that I had sitting in my barn and have getting back into Hondas again. A bone-stock GS-R is a joy to drive compared to an F-150 work truck. I vaguely remember many of the names here! Glad the forum is still going.

Still on here after joining in 2008.

Had a 5 year (or so) lay off.

Now in another crx and loving it. Its a shame this place isn't as active as back in the glory days.
