b16 block with b18 head

i was wondering if that posible to run that setup b16 block with b18 head and cams is that a good setup :naughty:

Yes it will work but won't be that great a change.

depends on what b16 and b18 your talking about. B16a2 or b16b? b18c? Setup isn't that great.

b16a and b18c if it wont work i will stick up with the b18c project

B16 head will be better on a b16 block. Either get a b16 head or a b18 block for the b18 head :nice:

in my last ek i was running a b16a bottom end with a b18c head and it was alot better than my stock b16a2.

made 156bhp at the wheels

Am i correct in thinking the b16b head could flow up to 220cc/min with other mods to help like TB, ram intake etc?
B18c's are similar except the angle of the valve seating.

B16B/B18C heads will flow 250CFM at 11.5mm lift.

yes its a good upgrade, a b16a with a type r head will be much better than a stock b16a expecially after a map:nice:
