Hello guys, I did a b16a2 swap in my ej9.
I tried removing the immo chip from the P2t ecu, but the car didn't start.
I also bought a P30 with the jumper harness, still no spark and the fuel pump is not priming.
I'm in Europe so I also have the immo box under the steering whell, is there a way to bypass it?

If you bought an OBD1 ECU with adapter harness, you've already bypassed the immobiliser. Has the car got an aftermarket alarm installed?

From my understanding, based on my own car, the ring on the barrel reads the chip inside the key. Confirms its the correct matching key to the ECU and then deactivates the immobiliser on the ignition and fuel systems.

My EM1 doesn't have this box you're describing under the steering wheel. I would know because I stripped everything when I was swapping out the entire column.

Still, anyone I know has easily bypassed the factory immobiliser by simply installing a different ECU.

I think that the box is only for the european market
