b16b head upgrages??

hi new to this site needing a bit of advice of people if you can help ive got a b16b running 200 bhp its been stroked to 1800cc with oversized b16b pistons b18 crank n rods, race shells, mfactory flywheel, ac stage one clutch, 4.7 final drive, b18 throttle body, mugan drift spec cat back exhaust with jap speed 4-2 manifold and wanting more so thinking of doing work to the head but unsure what to go for like what cams, valves etc any help please? i have about £1500-£2000 to spend
 
Stay with oem valves, try some Skunk2 Stage2 camshafts with Skunk2 valve springs you will be happy :nice:
 
Thanks skunk 2 pro series stage 2 cams do you think? And is it worth bothering with inlet manifold? Heard mixed things about them.
 
What do you mean with mixed things? ITB's maybe?
You can't really go wrong with a bigger throttle body and portmatched intake manifold, but don't expect huge gains from it either.

Beware what you buy as well, some aftermarket intake manifolds are not much more than rebranded/copied ITR manifolds with a bit more bling, but they'll set you back a few extra £100 over an ITR IM.

I'd say do some research and try finding people with a similar build to yours and see what they have used or gained with their IM.

Skunk2 stage 2 cams and valvetrain package should definately get you some nice figures. Or if money is not a problem get some Toda cams :naughty:
 
Heard some people say its not worth buying a aftermarket manifold and sone people say you have not really any different from itr manifold, been told putting a dc2 manifold on will give better gains? How much do you think ITB's will set me back?

IMO if money is not problem JUN type 3 with JUN valve springs and type 2 retainers just like my head :naughty:

No other cam will make more peak power.

Toda if you want a track machine with more mid range :nice:

I'd Invest in the 4piston outlaw B16 head instead. Having a proper cylinder head with oversized valves beats having ITBs and Cams.
