as above bought a realy fresh b18c from a 99 spec dc2r and the s80 4.7fd

what mods be best to get 215bhp!?

I think something like good header, decat, 2,5" exhaust, good intake with CAI feed and ECU retune.

I only need an ECU/remap to complete that list & id be happy to achieve a genuine 200BHP tbh....Im always very conservative with power claims

A car with similar spec made just over 200BHP with an Artech remap on S300 at Surrey Rolling Road..(about 170atw from memory)...

Ok so it would be better to assume Honda's dont have as much power as they say on paper?

5zigen cat back exhaust - j's racing decat - j's racing e.manifold - spoon i.manifold - aem or j's racing induction kit - that should get you dere no problem !! ( spoon ecu just in case )

Wrong Wrong + MORE Wrong......

If someone can translate what the "BHP" stands for i would appreciate it...its normally referred to as WHP "actual power @ the wheels" or sometimes people measure the power as power @ the crank..?

But anyway if you were asking to make 215WHP...?

The List would be

Use your B18C-R Block.....11.7-12.5 Compression Pistons "Pref CP Pistons"
Buddy Club Spec IV Cams/Valvetrain OR Skunk 2 Pro 2 Cams/Valvetrain
Good Header ....Hytech/SMSP/RMF/ANR.....Etc...
Good 2 1/2" OR 3" Exhaust w/ Little Restrictions..
70mm Throttle Body "w/Port Matched Intake Manifold P73 Fine"
Velocity Stacked intake Setup 3"
Hondata S300 Engine Management

If you wanted more torque use an B18-LS "non-vtec" crank + rods..basically an Ls-Vtec but you still retain the oil squirters and block Girdle and theres NO tapping of the block + head for oil feeds..15-20 ft/lbs More Torque

This should Easily Get you 215-230WHP W/ a GOOD TUNER...!!

Ok so BHP usually refers to whp? I thought at the flywheel.

BHP is at the flywheel and WHP is at the wheels (actual power you put down on the road) I think! :)

See where i am ....we dont have any dyno's that measure in BHP/Flywheel..
Sorry for my confusion ....well if he wanted 215/Flywheel Power...all he would need is a Real Deal Header...and a Free Flowing Exhaust.....Good Intake....Hondata S300 and that should ballpark him there..

so i was right den - the mods i listed so push 220bhp really easy so 215bhp wud be a guarrantee !!

yes you were right.

I think he though you meant WHP. Even though that wasnt the question asked.
