well lads i am thinking bout rebuild my b18 type r as its a bit on the smokey side. but im not sure what to use original honda pistons nd rings or to fully forge the engine altogether while it out!!:)) wondering if i do this can i just use my standard intake manifold ect already have a ecu so no need to change this just get it maped after. thanks peeps :thanks:

Go for the Honda over sized ones, I think they're .25 oversized. Get a nice fresh bore/hone and away you go.

is there any point of using wiseco piston and eagle rods no?? without doing some head work?

My mates just collecting parts for his rebuild on his b18c. He's using stock rods, wiseco oversized high comp pistons, brian crower stage 3 cams, brian crower dual valve springs, brian crower titanium retainers, acl bearings, arp studs etc.
I keep telling him he will need some headwork to get the most out of the build, but he doesn't agree. So ill let you know how he gets on in a few weeks.
