Hi all i recently put a B18C4 in my CRV, i have kept the odb2b engine loom from the crv and used it on the c4, then used a odb2b to odb1 conversion harness to run a p30 ecu.
I have also swapped the distributor guts over from the origonal crv one to the vtec one as it is a different pin out, as one is 10 pin the other 8. So now the vtec distributor has the b20 odb2b guts inside and plugs in to the engine loom as it should.
Problem; the engine will not fire up on the p30 ecu, i have also tried a p28.
The car does however start on the original crv ecu.
Would anyone have an idea as to what may he the issue?
