hey everyone,

ive noticed that my steering has some play in it, and is not as tight as it should be.
upon further inspection is seems the boots on the tie rod ends, and the boots on the lower and upper ball joints have split.. i think.

so i want to replace them all, but i am not sure where to get them all from?
i have found this place that do tie rod ends, but at that price i am abit unsure, has anyone used them before?
HONDA CIVIC > Japanese Korean Car Parts Specialist. Japarts LTD 1996-01&cap=&prevo=&hidden_make=&vehicle_iid=195&s=15

i have also found that micks garage do lower ball joints and tie rod ends, but for an ek4, are these the same for an ek9?
Tie Rod End - Honda Civic Mk V Hatchback (Ej9, Ek1/3/4) 1.6 Vti (Ek4) - 11/1995 - 02/2001, 1595cc, 160hp

can anyone tell me where i can find upper ball joints (camber arm ball joints), or do i have to buy the whole unit?

any help would be much appreciated, this needs sorting pretty urgently.

cheers

Lloyd :)

You should go for OEM Honda parts. Best quality and will last longer than others ;)

As for tie rods ends I think they are the same on all EK's

yeh i know i should, but the price is another matter.

with the amount of driving i do, blueprint parts are not going to wear at all.

can anyone else confirm that ek4 ball joints and tie rod ends are the same as ek9?
