Just wondering if anyone's relocated their batteries into the cabin. Would love to see how some people have done it. :)

That's very nice!!! How have you attached the battery cradle to the body - is it tacked?

No, the cradle is ally. Just big screws and washers.. You could literally hang off it :)

Very similar thing but mines on the floor under pas seat.
Much easier to bolt through the floor so that's what I did.
This is the best picture I've got, can see it behind pas seat

Nice! What kind of batteries are you guys running? They looks smaller than OEM?

Also didn't know you could lie them flat, does this not mess with the fluid inside?

Mines a real cheap kit car battery. Been on its side since I got it and it's fine.

Exactly that.
I'm pleased with the battery. Sat in the garage for 6months and it fired the new engine straight up.
As I said is kept it on its side and it's fine aswell. They are pretty cheap so if it does let go you can get another easy enough.

Awesome thanks guys.

Did you use any special connectors & wire to extend from the loom?

I used 4awg sub power wire iirc.

I have a powervamp battery in mine. £50 on eBay delivered with the cage. Bolted through the floor and sits under the passenger seat. Great battery, used daily for over a year now and not had any issues. My dad uses one in his Westfield and mk1 escort now after mine has been reliable.

Rare that you find a part that's cheap, light and reliable at the same time. Was expecting to have changed mine by now but it's fine.

Had mine behind/under the passenger seat as well

I never ever got around to connecting it up
Still have the cable and terminal crimps that I got for it here if they are any good to you ?

any cons to using them batteries? they look the job!

I'd be cautious if I had a lot of electrical drain in my car.
Alarms, big sound systems etc
But mines been fine(no radio)

Easy enough to run a battery kill switch to stop an alarm draining the battery. That's my plan anyway.

Wouldn't think it would be an issue to run a standard stereo system with a healthy alternator either.
If your running big heavy sound systems then a light weight battery is not for you
