Hello all,
Some 12 years ago, a friend of mine was looking for an EK9 and imported one via Duncan. That was my first encounter with this model. Didn't know it before. In fact, I've always been into English classic and sports cars but what I've always wanted was an Italian exotic. As many, my car alphabet began with an F. Still want one though.
Anyway, as time goes by, I've really come to appreciate the Honda Type R's and what they stand for. Since a few months, things became more concrete and I decided to look for an EK9 in Japan via Duncan. The chase has started. A new adventure awaits. I'm already prepping myself by regularly checking this site, reading technical articles, looking at Hot Version films from back in the day. I even looked at Initial D movies. Everything my friend(s) were talking about once upon a time, I'm re-living right now. Feels a bit strange but good and fun at the same time. Must be my midlife crisis.
Can't wait till we find my future EK9, have it shipped, picked-up and just start driving and enjoying it. I'll keep you guys posted. To be continued...
Best regards,
Kristof
