Best clutch for b series

This has come up a HUGE amount of times

An oem integra clutch will be perfect, save your money so you can buy a nice forged chromoly light weight flywheel with it

And no a stage 1 exedy is not the same, the oem integra clutch is better

Plated and cintered clutches are a nuisance on the road, juddery and require heel toe and rev matching ALL the time, overkill for most applications (trust me, i have a mental ORC clutch fitted)

it also depends on the mods of your car, if its well over 200 hp the oem clutch wont last, my car isnt heavily modded and i took out my stage 2 clutch for the oem one after a few months, its hard to beat oem :D

The cars 220bhp so thats why i askin dude :nice:

I use OEM Integra (DC2) clutch in my Civic VTi and it is perfect.

btw. the ACT is good as well.

as everyone is saying oem

but depends on your set up!

i had an xtd stage 4 6 puck on mine it lasted well for about 2 years untill i had a kaaz lsd fitted, it then took about 3 months of abuse and it ripped the centre out!!!!

im now running a act stage 3 and it feels like oem

Exedy are shite - sorry but no other word to describe them.

They make a replica OEM clutch meaning it should be to the same performance its not an OEM clutch its far far far from OEM quality.

Exedy/Daikin manufacture for Honda
I could prove it with pictures, but i just havent got the time

The Honda K-series is identical, the B-series is slightly different but not a great deal

Exedy racing products are a little bit tempremental, the OEM's are pretty good
But, saying that there must be some reason the DC2 one is slightly different, whether its for longevity - they usually last 60,000 - 70,000miles
