Im not going to spend hundreds of £££ on a header, 5Zigen fits my budget quite nicely.....

Im on stock b16B header, big different to JDM ITR header....

Can anyone anwser my question, what noticeable gains will i get going from stock B16B to a 5zigen? Worth the money?
 
If you search the forum, you will find that a number of members will say 5zigen is best bang for buck. Espcially in UK where we cant get hold of headers such as SMSP - Hytech - TODA
 
well if your on a tight budget by all means

5zigen
or ebay They all perform the same

BTW Most companies will ship anywhere:)

I have actually searched through the forum mate, although i cant see the anwser to my excact question....

Ive seen that the 5Zigen is good etc etc BUT my question is will i see a good gain over stock B16B header? Is it worth me splashing out £400 odd for an uprated header? or are they not worth the money for the gain? or do they give a nice noticeable gain where you sit back and say to yourself "hay, that was worth all my £400".......

I.e rough BHP increase with mods i listed?

see what im saying?
 
I'm running a Fujitsubo EX 4-2-1 manifold and its a lovely piece of kit and works well with my current set-up :nice:

from experience, you will notice some gain in throttle response and more free revving at the top of the rev range:nice:
not the best mod for your money tho.

But i suppose its one of those mods that go well if you want to keep it simiple right, i.e "bolt ons"

Maybe hard to say, but what sort of power increase would you say? Seeing as i already have the Apexi Exhaust system with an intake?

Just simply bolting it one would you say between 7-10BHP? That would be nice lol
 
if you were to have a before and after dyno run on your car, your "peak" power would probably be nearly no different,
for some reason the peak figure is what most people look at, and judge manifolds/headers by,
yes, you should see a gain in hp but dont expect to see any big power numbers, more a case of small gains here and there, which all add up obviously:nice:
 
cool, I see what your saying,

Think i will get one, as the few little mods i have so far has made my car noticeably quicker and this will just add to it,
