Just looking into a new set of tyres for my Jordan Civic, Live in northern ireland so have to be decent in the rain too! lol

Been pricing around but wondering what yous are running and what yous think?

Cheers

Take a look at Hankook Ventus V12 K110..great tyre and cheap...

I have both the Toyo T1R and the Hankook Ventus V12 and the Hankook V12 is a much better tyre then the T1R's.

T1R's are crap in the rain.

There's a nice lad selling R1Rs pretty cheap ATM
Whole different tyre to the T1Rs
Take a look

i personally cant see past yokohama parada spec 2's my jordan handles amazingly in the dry and as long as you dont go mental in the wet there perfectly fine!

^ as above parada spec 2s are great budget performance tires loads and loads of grip in the dry and they don't wear too fast either iv had a set on my dc2 since February and there's still loads left on them.

Down side is the sidewalls are a little soft under very hard cornering and they are absolutely lethal in any sort of wet

Best performance road tyre is ad08 IMO
Have had r1r,t1r eagle f1.
Have t1r on my road rims ATM and can't say they are bad.
R1r have decent grip for a while then die off. Very soft rubber aswell.

Uniroyal Rain experts were great in the wet and no bad in the dry when i had them on the focus RS..... never tried them on Jordan.

Running T1-R's the now, they are ok, not great but a good price TBH :nice:

try BP adrenalin Re002 , excellent on dry , verry good on wet and the wear is minimal .. about 3000 km and 1 track session on Hungaroring.

Depends how you drive your car tbh if its used to go to work and handy driving mostly no point in putting on ado8s or the likes, t1rs are a good alround tyre for everyday driving and the odd bit of spirited driving imo!

ad08's get my vote too been running them for a while they're just soo good and get even better on track but to be honest if I didn't have a good deal for tyres I'd go for t1r's for the road because of the shitty roads, pothole, craters
the best tyre is whatever's best for you given your budget, mileage and how much grip your after

Try Federal FZ-201.
Great tyre but are hard got.
E marked also.
