I have finally completed my kswap into my face lift ek9, there's just few interia items needed but nothing major, I'd jus like to thank the members on here for there input on advice I needed to get the best gains and also many parts I bought from members on this forum, most my information was gathered on ek9 org and just of genral search on google, I took my my car to re-mapp to romain for the second time as the first time he could not mapp it due to a sensor appearing which he was unable to take of, he advised me of the few things that could have been the problem such as timing, cam angle, or tensioner being streched, so I bought the car back and got it all checked out and re-done, then sent romain a datalog, now the car was good to map, I re booked a date with romain and we finally agreed on a date as I was unable to get insured, I got a last minit booking and went to get my ek9 mapped, on the day had some overheating problems with the engiine, just by chance HONDA-R was there who installed my new injectors for me and helped romain solve the over heating problem, finally after a tensed few weeks my car was on the dyno getting mapped, I got a healthy 250.1bhp and 180 torque, there was no knocks bangs or smoke and romain said it was a good figure considering the few problems we had to over-come, Romains a great guy and a very good mapper he did a great job on my car and was very helpful I highly recommend him, also HONDA-R I did nt catch the guys name but very helpful and knows what he's talking about. I did a run with my new kswap v my old b20 engine in an ek which had done 13.6 in an eg at santapod and the difference of power and speed was amazing there was no comparison even tho I got spin in 1st and 2nd, I just need to invest in better tyres now, so once again everybody who helped thank you.
