Black RX project


Finally got round to getting the bushes done! lol rear arms all finished and new studs pressed in too! So i've all that to get back on the car then do the same with the front. Still trying to source some braided brake lines and rubber seals for the front callipars as they are torn! :/ Got more bits bought to put on as well! and now pretty sure i'll be going turbo in 2013! :D God i wish i kept the car on the road....
 
My mates a supplier for HEL if you're wanting some new braided brake lines? Pm me if you're interested bud.
 
Woop woop, some actual progress today. Finally got to start putting parts back onto the civic! lol

Got the rear suspension back on the car minus the brake calipers as i've still to paint them up and get brake lines. so here's how it looks now....

This is what the rubber seals on both my front calipers look like, only the top ones though? So i need to find replacements for them before they go back on.

another lil update, Brakes are being painted this weekend. Just finished replacing the Engine mounts with nice innovative ones, Still got the front arms to rebush and stick back on and loads of other things to do....

Got to figure out how to tuck the headlight wiring and some of the fuse boxes!
 
Looks wicked mate, love the wheels, and the heatwrap on the rear section is something ill be doing soon :)

Decided to make the car even more of a jigsaw puzzle and start the headlight wire tucking. Had the who thing done on the drivers side and realized it was too tight to clip together! DOH!! so done a bit more swearing inside the drivers footwell and free'd up some more slack in the harness! just got to sleeve it up and feed it back through the gromet and it'll be done! Well the drivers side anyway! :D

Coming along really well now man! The tuck should leave the bay a whole lot tidier. When do you plan to have it out for? Would you sell me your radiator? Lol
 
looks nice, just got my headlight cables rerouted inderneath the airbox, so it's invisible too, but of course your version is much cooler :D

I had planned to have the car back on the road for sept, but that looks very unlikely now. Might just hold off until march time. Rad is not for same im afraid, APexi race rad! :D

Cheers, it isnt that hard to do once you get stuck into it. Took alot of head scratching at the start!

Cheers, I daren't take photo's of some of the stuff i have laying about! Once all this work is done the car will be ready for whenever i can get a Turbo kit got! :woot:
