Im in no way Canadian (thank God) but i do have a Canadian 96 Honda HB CX ( God hates me...)... Why are they saying canadian cars need to swap their PV, also, Is the MC different on canadian cars?I think you mean BRAKE
yeah...spelling police here...
I'll wait for blinx to chime in here...as it seems the prop valve on 6th gen hatches in the USDM did not vary and were all of the 4040 variety.
Otherwise, get one from a 99/00 Si/SiR(if you're Canadian)

It's Americans like yourself that makes the rest of the world view your nation as a whole bunch of asses.
Luckily, I have very good American friends and can distinguish the difference.
be easy i already scolded him lol...
This is the 40/40 prop valve which we had to install on several brake conversions. The civic's in the UK that dont have rear disk on them from factory come with a differant valve on them and when you convert to rear disk it just dosn't have the pressure for the rears so the pedal has a long travel before you get brake preasure.
blinx with what your saying applies to what size front discs? 242? 262?
Blinx. The cars have been EJ8's and EJ9's. All have had the smaller prop valve like the one that comes on the USA SI or the UK VTI with 4 wheel disk. These have the 242mm front disks. After the conversion is done brakes are bleed they work fine but there is alot of pedal travel before the come on. First time thought it was just air. Rebleed them over and over. Still the problem. Changed the prop valve to one of these and problem was gone. Pedal feel is just right. Moves a little and you have brakes.
Hmm, are 94 integra gsr front brakes bigger than a 96-00 dx hatch?
