brakes question

I was driving my ek9 ocer a sandy road and I pumped the brakes once and set it to neutral but the car kept stoping is there a system that does that or is it a problem?
 
if your saying that your brakes kept working even though you took your foot of the pedal i would say it may have felt that way from the friction in the road.

i dont think that this was only the friction feeling. the car go from 50 to 0 kmh alone but himself controled that
 
ek9's have abs? only other thing i would imagine is the sand getting between teh pad and rotors... ever had the problem on normal roads?
 
what I need to know if there is an aditional system besides abs on the brakes

Yes, some 97s and race base ek9s where the only that didn't came with abs :nice:

Honda had 2 version of the ABS for this cars, meaning that the 99 - 00 type rs with abs have second gen abs, which are better than the first gen, since you car is a 2000 one your car has second gen abs, can you post a photo of your motor?

Yes, it has abs.

Para que me entiendas mejor:

Tu carro tiene la segunda generacion de abs que saco honda para estos carros, te ayuda a frenar mejor, yo estoy casi seguro que lo que sentiste fue el ABS en accion, incluso se puede sentir hasta que te mueve el pedal. Deberias de poner mas fotos, tu carro esta muy lindo, y con esos aros volks te37s se ve precioso, creo que me contactaste para que te cambiara de nombre en el foro verdad? decime que nombre queres que te ponga y con gusto te lo cambio, es mejor que escojas un nombre facil de recordar, por ejemplo solo george o algun apodo. saludos, cualquier duda me avisas. :clap:
