I've short listed down to these bucket seats,

Recaro Pole Position
Sparco Evo
Sparco Pro 2000

Anyone have any experience of these and recommendations? I'm 5'10, 32" waist medium build.

Has to be recaros!

Because?

Not just looking for the name, but in terms of comfort/fit, build quality and most important of all support for trackdays.

I used to have a Bride ViosIII low max and that fitted me like a glove, but kind of expensive to buy now.

SPG's/SPA's for me.

Amazing seat, can be re-positoned to fit your driving style/position. Very very light, very comfy (my brother, among other were able to sleep in them in my track ek9 which pumps out 118db @ 4500rpm, and its very rigid)

Ive bought covers for mine, and had them over 2 years now - look brand new once given a clean and the cushions dont flatten :))

I would go for the pole position, quite similar to the above seats.

Amazingly, I was comparing the Sparco Rev+ seat and the Bride ViosIII and they have more or less the same dimensions, few mm difference here and there and they are £500 difference in price!

The Pole Position is a slightly smaller seat than the Sparco's wondering if the harness hole heights are going to be a problem?

I've got an spg the now, had 2 diff ones and they are really comfy

Also had sparco pro 2000 in my crx which are super comfy and have mega bolsters

If I was buying new I'd get the pro 2000 as its a lot cheaper and just as comfy/well holding seat

Also had bride vios 3 seats and tbh all are really comfy and well fitting

Thanks buddy, thats really helpful. Out of interest, are you similar height and build to me?

No worries mate

And yeah I'm 5"8/9 and about a 32 waist and all of those seats were comfy, pro 2000 was the loosest and bride the tightest but it depends what you like really

I absolutely love my spg, super comfy

I've had two BRIDES a Zeta and Vios 3 and now have a Recaro Pole Position and it's the best quality out of the three and most importantly the most comfortable seat I've used!

Hmmm......seem like leaning towards the Recaro PP but those are at the top of my budget, anyone else tried the Sparco seats?

By the way, i know the SPG's are very comfy seats as i used to have a red one in my old ITR and i sold i on near new for stupidly little money back then :angry2: so not going to get the same seat this time.

Anyone tried the Sparco Evo or anything similar?

If you don't wanna spend too much I'd say pro 2000 dude

Or check out demon tweeks for some for some corbeau ones, some nice looking seats for silly good prices, can get a Kevlar one for less than an spg

Do the mega side bolsters get in the way when shifting? I remember some buckets i had did sometimes catch my arm.

Do you think a trip to Demon Tweeks would be good, they have a showroom with lots of seats?

The 'BEST' seat is whatever fits your arse best. Personally I find the Corbeau Pro Series better than anything Recaro do, in fact its about the most comfy seat of anything out there for me hence the one I'm most happy in. The Mrs finds the Corbeau Boss seat massively more comfy than the Recaros in the ITR, I would say the recaro is a better seat on paper but doesn't suit her as well.

I imagine if you could have got to something like the autosport show and had a sit in everything you would have been able to make a good decision, demon tweeks would probably be a good bet if their local.

I don't know if this is an option, but what about the buddyclub seats. I owned a hole array of Sparco seats, from the sprint to the America and some other I forgot. The buddyclubs are a lot tighter then anything sparco offered, but they are more comfortable. (I'm 6ft 4 with a 34 waist)

another vote for recaro. However the newer corbeau seats are pretty good quality, i just bought these for my car, albeit not a honda anymore but was very pleased with the quality for the money

I didn't find them hitting, but if you want you can rest your arm on the bolster and shift comfy when cruising as well

Yeah could be worth a shout if you're close to see what's most comfiest cause as said everyone is different so need to test them all out

If you want a decent seat that you like to sit and and dont care about having recaro written on it then get the pro200 really a much better seat compaired to the recaro !!

These look good, what are they? Carbon/kevlar backed, must of been quite expensive?
