Hopefully by tomorrow I will have a my buddy club spec 4 exhaust on my ek9
what do you all think of them as I didnt want a really loud exhaust I went
for this because its one of the more quiet exhausts you can get for the ek9
so when its on I will post some pictures up of it

i dont think thar the spec4 is one of the most quiet exhaust for ek9!! but it is a good choice
fujistubo legalis R that a quiet catback ;)!!

hahahahahahah, buddyclub makes some of the loudest exhuasts on the market, but i love the spec 4 i think its beautiful, please post pics...

Cool! posts pics and if you can videos! :)

i agree, spec 4 makes a nice noise when driven hard, and a soft-ish tone when cruising ::
pics!:)

stainless steel always has a crap noise for my preference... too high pitched...

intersting statement, the resonator and back box is usually what determines the pitch, what material do you prefer? cause your only left with mild steel that will rust or titanium which is usually extremely loud since the wall thickness is minimal and very expensive.

i have a full stainless exhuast and header (from when i was all motor) and i can tell you it was deep :nice: that high pitch is usually caused by not using a resonator in my experience.

Yeh, I've experienced on bmw's that mild steel has deeper sound opposed to stainless, titanium supposed to be raspy...

mines mild steel and sounds very deep and angry... but then again I've got 3 large resonators(hotdogs) and the back box being very large in diameter.

I've also always been told by other tuners that stainless oposed to mild steel is more higher pitched. but some people like it :nice:

but the high pitched sound can be removed with the use of a good size resonator. for example mine is 24" long.

What size is the exit on a buddyclub spec IV?? i want to buy it cos it looks great but i hate large looking cans :(

4inch is really pushing my maximum but if it is 4inch i'd still buy it!

Please let me know asap if you know as im desperate to buy but i cant find specs anywhere that explains the exit size
