this is not a ek9 bumper but a prefacelift civic sedan, top half is stock and bottom half is an aftermarket c-west type... work in progress from left to right beadings and mesh still to be fitted, my first fibreglass-plastic work

Sous have looked better if you had filled the bump strips in while you were doing it imo but well done! :nice:

agreed,

make sure its really strengthened up on the join, quite a bit on the back, dont want to hit something and the whole bottom section just to crack along the line.

good job though :nice:
 
rear bumper has beadings, that's why the front got some aswell...
been how long and no cracks... the thing with fibreglass/plastic merge is the 5p's (proper preparation prevents poor performance)

but i just cracked a sleeve, so i'm putting the block on the cnc machine tomorrow for some 7mm thick sleeves with 86mm id....
