Hi All

As An Irish customer sites I used to use for buying Parts were always either Tegiwa or TorqueGT.

From 1 Jan we will be liable to customs / excise from the UK so what is anyone’s plan for buying parts inside of the EU?

i thought they came to a deal and we will not pay vat and import taxes from UK to EU ......

Don’t think so....
Pretty sure the final deals were around fisheries

it shouldnt affect you much if at all, i work sending car parts internationally at work and when you sell out of the eu (or the uk depending on how this deal is worded) you dont charge VAT, so the prices should be relatively the same once theyre landed to you.
as an example:

if you bought a front bumper at £350 inc vat now, + postage etc to you.

if you bought one internationally, it would now cost £291.67 + postage (then you pay local taxes when it arrives) which is 21% for RoI.

when i find out exactly what the case is im happy to share it here

That sounds good. I think the only difference so will be the vat difference which is minimal and circ 12% customsthanks!
