Extremely pleased with what arrived yesterday!.....surely can't be many new ones available, anyone know when they were discontinued?
Beautiful welding.....like a piece of art, should put it on the wall not the bottom of a car!

Not sure what the water and drink flavouring is about!

I've read a lot on the forum and decided the Twin Loop was for me.....cant wait to get it on the '9 now :nice:

 Did you buy that brand new ? It's amazing I'd be petrified to put it on a car
Yep.....Injection Imports, they sent it swiftly and I'm well pleased.
They seem to go for crazy money second hand, a couple of posts on here say rare as hens teeth? I must say I've been on the look for a couple months and not seen many...

AMAZING, these exhausts are so awesome. really nice tone , no rasp or bark which is great if you want subtlety.

One thing i will say though, after owning one on my EK4, they do hang quite low so if you car is low on coilovers be careful ;)

Great....that is exactly what I was after.....I noticed some on here had the Spoon N1 and went back to the Twin Loop, I'm too old for too much noise!

Ok thanks for the heads up on the ground clearance, I will be staying OEM for ride height etc...going to keep the car a little like Saqib - OEM+ ...:))

Good man, I personally couldn't fault the OEM EK9 suspension for daily use and fast road, so agree with you whole heartedly.
I have owned both Spoon N1 and Mugen Twinloop but on previous EK4's and i had to buy a silencer for the Spoon for daily use lol.
Mugen Twinloop is pretty much how an EK9 should sound from the factory i think, it has a beautiful tone to it more of a humm and an actual tone rather than raspy.
Be sure to make a video of it and share once fitted :)

Hi Guys...many thanks for the comments...:nice:

Any idea how much i will gain for having this exhaust and a K&N panel filter....im not bothered in the slightest but my insurance was asking, should i say about 4 or 5 bhp?....anything over 10% and they wont cover me, which isn't a problem i can go elsewhere but all my other vehicles are with them and i have a multi car policy......i'd rather be honest or close to as they will look to get out of anything if they can in the event of a claim....any advice would be appreciated as i have no idea!
If there is no gain thats fine and thats what I'll tell em!:nice:

Thanks Saqib.....cracking '9 you have, love the clean simple approach :)

10% gives you an 18 bhp threshold as the 9 is 180 bhp standard so am sure you'd be ok with those mods.

Btw that exhaust is lovely!

Yeah i said to the lady there may be a small gain but she immediately asked how much? My reply was of course i would have to put it on a rolling road to be exact - to which her reply was, im sorry i dont know what you are talking about!......., i guess i could try and say it will definitely be less than 10% which of course it will......but to satisfy i might say 5% which im guessing could be about right at 9bhp?

Its a beaut, thanks :nice:

yeh i would say maximum 5% to her.. probably near 3 - 4% , you may see a bit more but for sure you are definitely under their 10% margin.

on another note, Good man for telling your insurance company. its rare that people tell them about mod's and with expensive mod's like this i think its a must as you'll never get the value back if someone rear ended you and messed up your minty fresh Twinloop :)

Ok thanks mate....I'll try that and see how it goes....

Yeah I also have declared the mods so if I get a tug by the Rozzers I can answer their questions with a big grin :))

Haha good man, when i was younger ( i say that im still only 27 :p ) i went to court for having a screamer pipe on a toyota starlet gt turbo :(

however when he asked about the tein coilovers i said i had just painted the OEM suspension green to stop rust and his words were " good idea " lol but i still had to pay a £350 fine for the screamer pipe :( learnt the hard way i guess

Got the Mugen TwinLoop on my EK4 (with B18C and Mugen header), and I just love the exhaust to tiny little bits. It´s quiet when you want it to, and makes decent noise when you´re flooring it. Congratulations on a new one!
Comparing my old Private Label header to the Mugen one was a real eye opener with regards to weld quality.. no contest really.

are you secretly Brad Pitt ?!?

Brad pitt owns a B18C EK4... #lifegoals

Wow so nice!! Collectors piece that its!

I know what you say about being rare, few systems with scraped and smashed centre sections.

I spent about 3-4 months looking for mine, and got a very very clean for a used one from @B18C'R EK

In fact if I'm not wrong I think it was reading one of your threads saying you were going back to the 'Twin Loop' inspired me to get this one!....my lad wanted me to buy the Spoon N1...
Thanks for that! :))
