Car Booked In For Re-map !!!

Hey Guys..

Well I finally did it, booked my car in for full re-map !!! - I thought of many options to use - Hondata - Power Fc etc but in the end I opted for the daddy !! - The AEM EMS System..

In fact AEM EMS includes more features and is more expensive than Power FC, but I'm running the latter one and it's all I wanted to build my B16B!

We have never run an AEM EMS on any of our cars, we usually use FconV's or Power FC's.

power FC isent really on the same level as aem ems in my opinion, power FC dosent even have a 2step revlimiter function. i think power FC is great for the NA guys due to its price, but the price is low for a reason. and dont forget power FC is pretty old compared to aem ems.

hks Fcon is a great ems IMO but due to the fact that you have to be authorized through HKS to have access to the software makes less tuners have access to it, and when that happens less customers use and in the end you have a situation like we have in USA where only a handful of tuners can tune HKS fcon and lets hope they NEVER run into a problem becuase there are very few people they could turn to for advice/support as its hardly used, its really a shame.

Know what you mean with the Fcon's, I think there are only 3 tuners who have the software in UK to tune them, but they are excellent, twice the size of map than a Power FC.
Im a big fan of Power FC's, think they should have continued to make them, they are old but IMO do the job as good as the newer stuff. Yes it doesnt have a 2step revlimiter function but IMO you dont really need it, plus you can change it in 20secs if you need to, lol

i agree Power FC is an excellent tool especially for the price, it fits in a middle way as far as pricing and thats always good for customers to have options when it comes to pricing, like if someone cant afford Power FC they can buy hondata instead etc...
