Change side of seats - plug and play?

I want to change the sides of the seats (driver to passenger and other way around). Are the rails on both sides the same? Or would I have to change rails on the seats so the rails stay on the same side but the seats are changed? Is that possible?

rails are definitely side specific, so you'll have to swap the rails around.

seats are easy enough to split from the rails but iirc only the drivers recaro has the sensor on it so it would mean a light on your dash or putting a resistor on there to bridge it.

The sensor is attached to the seat belt latch iirc, so it can be swapped round as well.
EDIT: Actually, thinking about it I'm not sure now!

not sure either just know its on there and is a balls to get unplugged if you've got fat hands like me!

It's not about an EK9 (EK3 with EK4 seats). So I am wondering what kinda sensor it is you guys are talking about?
