So today @RyanSi and I set about fitting the parts and making a custom airbox after advice from @Vtec6000 in prep for mapping.

So stripped the front off, changed the manifold and fitted the air intake



We had a sheet of Perspex which we cut, cut and cut again until we got it sitting right!





So as you can see we got it glued together and then bolted in place so it is fully removable!

The finished article, over the moon with it to be honest :D





We also fitted the top radiator hose as the original one burst and a polybushed torque mount.

All that is left to do is order some gold heat tape and wrap it around the intake pipe and some of the airbox :nice:
 
You going to cover the perspex box in some heat resistant tape?
 
The car certainly pulls better anyway and sounds a lot better as well!

Very happy at the moment :)
 
Awesome work dude really like the airbox you made should be good with the headlight you made too :)
 
Yeah going to get some off ebay I think as well!

Yeah have a cold air feed from the bumper right to the filter for road use (seems to be doing the job!) and the headlight intake will be for track :).

Been a while since I updated, really should update this at the time lol

Well after months of waiting I finally got a set! Thanks to @nicole_ :D



So as my car is no show queen. I painted these myself matt black just to get them on. The car is having the rear arches done at the end of April/Start of May and will most likely get painted around then as well.

I then bought new brake pads, brake master stopper, toggle switch for my launch control (when it get remapped), Spoon ETD, half alloy radiator, Tegiwa radiator hoses and some AD08r tyres!
