Hey lads I know this topic has been covered many times over but Im completely lost, basically was driving my ek civic (b18c) and it just stopped dead on my way home, pulled at the side of the road and it started up right away again got back home and cut out again, this time it will not start back up, I've done every check I read on the forums and the helms manual

*12v at the black/yellow wire to the coil
*Battery voltage from the yellow/green wire to the ecu
*Ohms tested the coil all in spec
*All wires have continuity from the ignitor
*Swapped ignitor with a known working one, still no joy

Anything else that I could try?

Starting to think it could be the hall effect sensor in the dizzy but no code stating that only code 15
Anyone?

I would probably check wiring to dizzy and if it’s okay try another one, they can be funny things. But usually go without an EML to be honest. Which makes me think wiring somewhere.

Weird thing is I have spark now after changing the coil but still not starting not even a kick, checked injector pulse and that's good, fuel pump is priming fine and I can smell fuel from the exhaust, code seems to have vanished but still no start

Update:

Still no better off, got a new rotor and cap and made no difference
Thought maybe I've a fuel issue as I've a nice blue spark at the plugs so no issues with ignition no more, i removed the fuel rail/injectors from the head and turned her over to see if there all spraying as they should.... Yes they are which leads me to believe there's no issues with the sensors in the dizzy, moved on to engine timing and everything is still in line hasnt jumped a tooth or 2

Bottom line have fuel, spark, compression, timing, earth's are good, no codes! Has anyone had any issues with the pressure regulator? Plugs are coming out wet so maybe pressure is too low? Sounds unlikely as the car just stopped dead but who knows at this stage
