Id like to see pics with ek9 spoiler and mid spoiler. Love ssbp! Bay looks fresher now Rocker cover and brackets done in black

Thanks man, that's really kind of you. Yeah, it looks loads better! I've got so many nice bits to fit to the engine bay and will do it all in one go so can't wait till tomorrow to get it all on and do a before and after again!

I'm so happy with the colour, photo's really don't do it justice, it really does change between blue and purple in the sun - it's so cool :run:

I'm so undecided on if I should refit the EK9 spoiler without the tilt brackets or keep the Spoon on, there's just something about the EK9 and mid I'm not sure about and I love how subtle but big the spoon wing looks - after all my aim is to keep the car as original as possible with some nice ext. mods as I love the badges and all of the goodies it has. I really want a Seeker v2 though haha.

I fully stripped my old civic, sound deadening, no int. plastics etc apart from the front half had everything (door cards, carpet etc) and it was sweet for about a week and then I regretted it and hated it. That DEFINITELY wont be happening with this. I LOVE the interior, I've never seen it before either!

I dnt think ive ever seen ek9 spoiler combined with mid spoiler hence the question. Spoon is more oem+ but id go with ek9 without tilt brackets. U need interior on a daily I find

Will be nice to see the changes in this tomorrow,
Be nice and fresh , good work my man !
Keep us posted pal.

Cheers man, just updated with a couple of new photos!

I fitted all of the engine bits I bought, I can't believe how much it has transformed already! Also fitted my own stereo, new JDM cup holder console, black leather with red stitch gear gaitor, broadway 300mm flat mirror, upgraded interior lights, OEM EK4 VTI mats that I brought from Honda last year for my old civic, genuine Skunk2 weighted gearknob and a new KEIPS8K 700mm rear window sticker. That's it for the interior! Just got one of our new sunstrips to fit when the weathers better.

Couldn't believe how savage the air was! Brand new K&N installed now :nice:

I think i'll give up on trying to polish the new exhaust mani - it's a mess, I've got one more thing to try and if not i'll just heat wrap it until I can get a 5Zigen one or something :woot:

Got a K&N recharge and maintenance kit today, probably be a while until I need it but really want to look after this!

70cm KEIPS8K! vinyl on the rear window for now, probably will run a different one when it goes on the road as want the car to look subtle and as OEM as poss.

Check out www.keips8k.co.uk if you haven't. All tee's and some vinyls are really close to selling out already :))

love the ssb colour, looks great on a facelift ek4

ive been looking for one for a while now, how much did you pay if you dont mind me asking, PM me if you like :nice:

Starting sanding down my new wheels today, they're getting painted next week. I also just grabbed X4 Yokohama Parada Spec 2's for £100!! Mental.

Re fitted EK9 spoiler and all I have left to do is set up the suspension with the new wheels and tires, oil change and filter and valve clearances then it's all ready. Can't insure it until April 11th though :(

Update! (sorry about how dirty it is!!)

Wheels are still being painted, won't be long till their back and then I can finally set up the suspension! Running out of time now as it's going to be on the road soon! **please ignore the disgusting negative camber in the photo, can't wait to get it sitting how I want it!**

I sold the Tegiwa tilt brackets and re-fitted the EK9 spoiler and I love it! Thoughts?

Also, here's a photo with my old genuine EK9 grill off my old civic. Looks so much better.

I've heat wrapped my recently purchased 4-2-1 mani as I couldn't get it polished up enough to be happy with it on show, looks awesome now and I used stainless jubilee's to neaten up the wrap by the flange. When I fit the mani, I can take off my bumper and sort a few things out which I will update soon.

April 11th I can finally insure her, the wait is killing me and my daily has just started knocking :(

I was all fired up to give you grief about the rear camber but read that its just temporary. Never been a fan of the mid spoilers on the ek shape but each to their own. engine bay has tidied up nicely! you putting the white slips from the old civic on this? should look sweet!

Bet u cant wait to get this insured! A month will fly by. Personally I think theres quite alot happening at the back. Id remove badges or mid spoiler just to tidy it, just an opinion. Your decision is most important!

Haha, I hate it! The guy that had it before me decided he wanted to run wider wheels but didn't want to go too low or roll the arches enough so it sat with loads of negative camber so it didn't scrub, it looks ridiculous! The car isn't on the road so it's not bothering me too much at the moment - I am just waiting for next weekend to get my new wheels back from paint and to set up the ride height as not long now till it's on the road.

I don't have the white slips anymore, it would look awesome on them but I really don't want to run 8's anymore as I don't want to run the car as low as I have been with camber etc. I actually want to run decent tyres and do some driving with it rather than be worried about scraping too much. I didn't mind with the EJ9 as it wasn't expensive but I don't want to ruin this, it's been my dream car to have for years!

Engine bay looks 100x better now cheers for the kind words!

I looked at the photo before reading what you said, and I was about to say "What the actual f**k." haha.
