Hello guys!! on next week am coming to UK and i thought it would be a great idea if i bring a b18c crankshaft to balance it in a shop in uk as the guys in Cyprus are just pethetic!! they do 5 cranks the 6 will brake they dont know how to work right!!
Do you have any good shop to suggest me??

Vibration free do not offer in house micro polishing work which IMO is essential prior to balancing.........

literally all they can do is balance

How come you say that Steven ? By all means its nice to have a micro polished crank BUT if theres nothing wrong with the crank and its in top condition then its not a must. I know i won't be having my crank micro polished when i get the rotaing assembly balanced anyway as my machine shop don't offer it... and my machine shop do F1 STUFF !!!! :p

wich is your machine shop m8?

Where are you going in the UK and how long are you over here ? There always busy so i won't be a simple "walk in walk out" job.

i would be in UK for a month m* maybe 36 days or so... i will go to London then Birmingham and then Aberystwyth (wales)!! but i can get the train and go to a place that there is a good machine shop and i can get a crank balanced and knife edged on a certain price!!
p.s. i found this guy on web anyone knows about it??
Andrews Precision ? Contact

each to their own rich, i can understand who some would not see the need to have it done

had the machine shop micropolish the crank when it was in to have the mains ground and the lot balanced, finish was amazing and it just glided on the new bearings!

No problem mate ;) I thought you ment you needed to have it done or something... Never mind. and yes it certainly is a  sight. hahaha.

Rich what place do you use? im looking to rebuild soon and will be looking for a reputable place in the midlands

andrews precision informed me that they wont be able to do my crank due to some change of their engines!! they stopped doing small capacity cranks!! any other suggestions?? any shop that has anyone of you made his crank knife edged??
