Hi, thought I'd re-introduce myself!

I've been building my 1990 Crx SiR for the last 5 years. I got hold of it in reasonable shape off a local guy, who was the first owner after it was imported. I'd been looking for a project, and have always had a soft spot for the Mk2 after always seeing a Celestial blue one around in the early 90's when I was still living at home. This ones a rare a/c and sunroof model, with lots of JDM options.

Anyway, as with most of you no doubt, there's always something that's work in progress, I'm considering a b16b conversion in the New Year all being well, along with a set of raxles and to finish off the rest of the renewal of all the bushes.

Some pics of it's numerous incarnations over the years.

When I bought the car. A diamond in the rough!

When I first finished the restoration. Running über rare AME Tracer wheels, koni/eibach shock/spring combo and 5zigen fireball exhaust.

Let me know what you think.

Love crx's
It's good too see that through its years and many different looks there's been no max power mods going on (massive bumpers lol)

Clean and simple

That's mint mate. I spent some time looking for a decent SiR, but unfortunately had to settle on the UK-VT.

One of my favourite colours on CRX's , this one is really slick example. Got one my self in storage, she will be out in summer.

Good to see a few of these knocking about, really nice mate :nice:

Can't go wrong with that, my best mates a mechanic so he's worth his weight in gold when I need a hand

Nice to know I'm good for something mate, your good for making the brews haha

The crx is absolutely stunning mate. Had a uk crx myself if I'd of had a garage to keep it in would of kept it and rebuilt it. Hopefully in the future will be able to find one I can bring back to life. Top work mate!

Really nice car mate I'd love a crx. I can't justify another project though lol

crx's are cooool! shame most of the ones around are rusted to pieces :(
