Hey guys,
so as the title says, i have a d16y8 swapped car, that won't start. but let me explain.
So i bought a coupe which was swapped with a b16a2 (with i took out because it is for my hatch). My brother wanted the shell+interior and stuff so i bought a d16y8 and an EJ8 Harness to match the engine. Everything put back together i have 2 problems:
1. if i put the engine on ignition the Tachometer already goes up - i checked and cleaned all the ground wires and mounting points - any other idea where that might come from?
2. the engine simply won't start. the ecu got an immobilizer delete (both the b16a2 p30 and the d16y8 p28g03). the engine cranks and as i had a misfire through the intake manifold (because of wrong OT - that is fixed) i think the injectors work. I thought the starter could be dead but i tried one of a running car - same problem.
Maybe battery to low? other suggestions?
