Dc teg rear fog light into reverse light

Hi guys I recently got a dc1 teg and I have to have a rear fog light as it's a jdm spec.i don't like the bumper mounted one like the uk spec dc2. I heard of wiring the rear fog switch to one of the reverse lights then putting a red bulb in there. Also every jdm spec teg I see for sale doesent have the bumper mounted fog so most people must be doing it the may I am asking about here

Yeah thats what you need to do.

You'll have to paint the clear part red too.
 
On my 96 teg I,ve got a wire from my front fog switch to one of the reverse lights with a red bulb in. Passed last 3 MOT,s like it.
