do yo run it with an aftermarket cone filter, right? Are they easy to get? Also dc1 has the same intake only with smaller intake tube. Would that be an option? I guess they should be cheaper too.

I'm getting a Hamp filter off IRF here. Plan to fit it in my ek with a cold air feed from the front bumper!

Is better than ek oem aribox but in my opinion you must change even the intake manifolds to take an advantage from this upgrade,in my ek4 i have all intake system of a dc2

B16a or b16b?

B18c or b16b manifold makes the b16a slower.

Proven scientifically.

Is a b18c inlet manifold larger than a b16b or is it just the throttle body?

Why john?

A bigger throttle body and manifold ie the b18 one doesn't make a difference on the b16. In fact you loose torque.
