DC2 K24 Turbo Project

Managed to get the brake bias valve fitted yesterday and done a brake pipe tuck, I didn't want any pipes on the bulk head because of the heat from the turbo and manifold so they are now routed inside here's some pic's

Mint! You'll be changing the bias for every corner wont ya Matt!

Right got around to rebuilding the gearbox today I am using the synchrotech rebuild kit with carbon synchros and a Mfactory LSD with stage one race pack and a longer 6th gear, I first cleaned and sprayed the casings then assembled the Lsd and checked the end float which should be .0 to .004" mine was .012" so I have ordered a new shim. I also checked the input shaft end float which the Honda specs are .004" to .007" mine was .004" so all ok, I also have new bearings but I'm going to wait until the new shim arrives before fitting so hopefully next week and it should be back together, I will post more pics then.

Some small updates!!
Finished putting the gearbox back together had to order some shims to get the diff bearings in spec, and is now bolted back to the engine.

Test fitted the engine so I could get the intercooler pipes made and the wiring finished ( thanks to my brother) new to welding alloy so the welds are ok for the first attempt!!!

Had to modify the water housing and make a new fitting so the heater pipes would clear the wastegate.

That's all for now but hopefully have it running in a couple of weeks

Had the car tuned back in August with Chris at Efi really happy with the results it's running 9psi as you can see from the graph it makes plenty of power and torque which makes the car fun to drive!!
