Decat length question.

Hi guys,

Well it's a sad day, my Ek9 is going back N/A and my turbo kit and B18c4 motor has sold.

To keep me going while I build my K24 Frank motor I've got a B16 or B18C haven't decided yet. But my question is, I've got a 5zigen catback which is around 2" shorter than a UK catback and a UK spec manifold, now Im assuming I will need one of those adjustable decats to make up for the extra length required?

Would I be correct in thinking this?

I think I've been doing too much reading into this and it's doing my nut in.

My 5zigen catback is 2" shorter than a UK catback, but Jdm catbacks should be/are 4" longer than UK ones?

What the hell is going on with my exhaust? It hasent been butchered in anyway and was removed from an Ek9.

Yeah I thought Jdm catbacks are longer, and therefore have a Jdm spec shorter decat to make up for it but correct me if I'm wrong. What cat and manifold did you previously use then to have it fit on your ek9? and it definitely hasn't been cut you say. I've got an adjustable decat for sale if it's a 2.5" one you're after by the way if you need

At the moment it's got a turbo downpipe, but a UK length decat fits it.
