Difference between EK9 and DC2 rails?

Sorry if this is a daft question but is there any difference between EK9 and DC2 rails?

Are one lower than the other? is the fitment the same?
 
DC2 rails are lower, some people use them with standard EK9 recaros as lower seat rails, but slight modification is required as all the bolt holes dont line up
 
if you want lower rails,ive a set of ek cobra/bride rails here.
100 euros plus postage.
 
i have dc2 rails in my civic. didnt know till i got it, was only held down by 3bolts. so you would need to drill thro the floor and thro another section(cant quite remember what it was.... been a while.) you will need to cone cut the 'other section' so you can get a socket in to do your bolts up. dont cone cut thro the floor tho....

with some modding i cant see why not.
anniversary recaro will be tricky on ek9 rails because of the big lump of plastic underneath them,so on ek9 rails,they could sit quite high.
 
EK9 its ~25/27mm taller than DC2 ones.

I have the two sets, DC2 and EK9 wich i receive this week.

In my DC2 one i didnt re-drilled a new whole on chassis, just go to a machine shop and increase the lenght of rails and drilled a hole on this new incresed thing.

I have 5.5feet and with dc2 rails for street use its complicated, because you dont see the even the hood. You're nose "across" the top of the wheel.

For trackday use i think its better dc2, feel more "racing" :drive:
