Can someone show me the difference between a EK9 front lca and a normal EK arm. Or post some pics of a EK9 arm and il compare it to mine. I cant find any good pictures and what i have found doesnt look any different to each other

Ive also read the roll bar mount is in a different place on the ek9 lca?

And why do hardrace supply 3 different versions of bushes for the EK LCA? Whats the difference?

They are the same, at lease ek4 and ek9 ones are. I think some models don't have the mount for ARB, ej maybe? Someone correct me if I am wrong.

The usdm front lca are a cast two piece design. Some models got the same pressed piece like the euro and jdm cars however

strange that they'd make 2 different types for the same model

its confusing the hell out of me with the ek9 arms, hardrace do a replacement arm for the ek9 but doesnt say whats different, they do say this though...

" Note: these arms are also compatible with all non-Si model 96-00 civics, but require 99-00 Si drop forks and optionally, the complete Si front swaybar w/endlinks, D-brackets w/bushings "

So the forks on a ek9 are also different?! surely this has been covered on here before

I think it refers to (correct if im wrong) base model EJ9 and EK3 never had a front arb fitted so the arms are different. Some Pre face, all face lift EJ9 and Ek3s had them as did all EK4 and EK9. Thats for us in the UK, unsure for any others.

makes more sense now, what ive read must have been in the USA!

I know the EK9 subframe is a lot different as i have both here so just assumed the LCA's would be different too

Hardrace got back to me to anwer the question of why there are 3 lots of bushes...

" 7199 – Fits Civic EK3/4/5/9 EJ6/7/8/9 EM1 (USDM 97-99)

7200 – Fits Civic EK3/4/5/9 EJ6/7/8/9 EM1 (JDM 97-00 / USDM 99-00 Si)

6122-A - The same as 7200

UK fitment is the same as JDM "
