Okay ive managed to source a spoon ecu I just wanted to make sure that when I remove the stock ecu that I do it correctly & dont break anything lol

Ive circled red where I think I should remove/undo things & blue circle Im not sure what I do with them lol.

What do I actaully need to remove to get the ecu out?:nice:

the reds for sure but the blues should be ok were they are, if you remove the reds first and the ecu still wont come out, take off the blue push in clip at the top but i dont think you'll need to :nice:

Cheers mate With the blue circle I put on the top of ecu is that just a pull out job?

As in this pic it has a bracket it for it

the black thing circled at the top is simply a cable tie with a plastic clip on the other side. just pull it out... i think its literally there to stop the wire's vibrating... and to hold everything together. it serves no real purpose that would fault your car if you broke it or anything like that.

the big green clip in the middle you should just leave as this won't need to change when you change your ecu...

only parts you unplug are the plugs you circled at the bottom..

be sure to let us know what you think of the spoon ECU. :) good times.

Yeah I think I could do a cheeky video & yeah looking forward to it It worked a treat having the Spoon ECU on my old EP3 & the Ralliart one I had on my evo was fantastic. I have very realistic expectations what the ecu will do & thank u again for helping out with what to remove as although done it to a few cars before never removed the ecu on a ek civic & didnt want to yank somthing I shouldnt yank:naughty:
