Hi guys DESPERATELY NEED HELP have just done a b18c4 conversion on my facelift ej9 and I'm having problems the fuel pump is not priming I was able to get the car running 2 days ago and it was fine my friend who done majority of the wiring is no longer available to help due to unforeseen circumstances ........ I'm running a p30 ecu**and a harness have checked and double checked all fuses and earths replaced relay aswell and still no luck the loom my friend used the ej9 loom and cut some connectors to make it fit. I have also pushed the button behind the glove box still nothing. Any ideas ??

Thanks

Hi mate check the fuel pump first to see if its workn, get a battery a put live and earth to it.. its a start like

as stupid as it sounds are all the connectors in the ecu??? if one of them is loose or not plugged in it wont prime the pump

This was a mates car he got someone to do it for him. I have been and had a look at it wiring was a mess d14 loom on the b18c4 I have managed to get the car started.

CEL was on so checked the codes and got the following

code 14 iacv
It has 3 wires on the loom but 2 on the connector side, 2 wires are connected and 3rd wire isn't still throwing a code any ideas???

code 41 o2 sensor not bothered about this for the moment

code 21 vtec this needs a wire adding from the solonoid going to the ecu anyone no Which pinout it's going to on p30 ecu using obd2b to obd1 harness.

code 10 iat
This needs to be wired as it had the sensor on the induction pipe but also has the sensor on the inlet manifold with nothing connected to it. I will be using the iat sensor on the inlet manifold and remove the one on the induction pipe changing that plug so it fits at the inlet manifold. Will this be ok or should I leave the IAT on the induction pipe and not use the IAT sensor on the inlet manifold??

thanks in advance

If i was your mate i would seriously look into getting a b18c loom, with loose wires and such it could lead to alot of issues.

You can pick one up of ebay for £120-150, will save alot of time and money in the long run
