EK polycarbonate windows

Well I took a set at 375. Great price for P4P wimdows and Mr Buddyclub was nothing but courteous.

Id rather rod my dog than have none formed windows from my past experience. These are also black in all the right places...so look oem fitted.

Well it would certainly be worth sending them an email, I don't mind doing it but we would need a rough idea about how many people would be interested etc.... Never done this before!

I defo need front 2.

What you do to your dog is up to you. I only need the front 2 so would they not form them selves on the guides?

They would do but somehow it has a habit of looking bodged. I don't know why particularly, perhaps how the light reflects off them imperfectly. - My experience is also of home made ones cut from sheet.

I guess they're cheap enoug to take a flyer?

Actually I'd probably be tempted to buy the 2x used formed windows and polish them up, as its 160 just for fronts from P4P.

I have the sides and rear quarters from ACW, great price for the race car, but as they are not formed you need some work on the driver/passenger to get rid of the gap along the bottom - not ideal if you still have door cards, I have not bothered and the rain is getting in, oh well, will shoot some pics at some point, to give you an idea of fit and finish.

We have another set but without the rear window if some one wants to buy 2 fronts and 2 rears?

Well I guess you get what you pay for, but I'm a cheapskate and my car is not exactly a looker anyway lol. But yeah, pics of fitment would be good, could you not just use silicon or sikaflex to seal the window to the door?

Another avenue I'm exploring atm are GRP doors, I have found a manufacturer back in the Czech Rep who could do a pair for around £300, but he says there's not a huge demand for EK parts and as making a good quality mould is both time consuming and costly he is somewhat reluctant to do just one pair for me. Maybe if I could find a couple more people here he would do it! Here's a picture of EP3 doors he offers, they are only about 5.5kg each!!!! Obviously these are strictly for people with full weld in cage with side bars.....

At around the 300 mark id take doors. Id also like a grp tailgate.

There are carbon ones but thats overkill. Carbon is for girls unless its a stressed part.

I had found a link to an Irish firm who make doors at 400euro....

Well he can do any part - tailgate, wings, you name it. Seriously good quality from what I read as well! However shipping might add a fair bit to the cost. I will be going to see my family some time in the spring so I am thinking of going to see the guy and speak to him.

Here's a link to his website, I guess if the order was big enough he would go down on price and there would be some savings to be made on shipping too.

Honda / Online store | PESCH - motorsport - shop with fiberglass car parts

What's the link to this place in Ireland btw?

Just to bump this up again,

The only places I have found are

Civic EK - 3dr - ACW Motorsport Plastics, Polycarbonate Windows

Who do the fronts for £59 and rear 2 for £49.50

Anyone have and experiance with these? Haitch are these the ones you have?

The only other place is a full kit from

Lexan Windows Webshop HONDA - Civic EK - 'Professional' Lexan ® window kit Lexan Windows Webshop

Which is £484.50

Anyone have any experiance with this kit?

At the moment I'm only interested in the rear 3 windows so tailgate and rear sides as I still use my EK on the street.

Should I contact the above companies for a group buy?

GRP tailgates would be good! Only ones I can find are carbon ones.

Lol!! Those are both options that are all the way through this thread. See the very top post on this page. Acw are cheap but not formed, plastics4perf are the posher formed and coloured ones I have - except I saved over a hundred quid buying them from mr buddyclub.

On my phone and havent read this since page 2!

Have you fitted your set from Mr Buddyclub yet? What size sliders do you have on the front windows?

Yes mine are ACW, apologies not been to the car for a while so no photos yet. The fitment on the Plastics4performance is like oem as they are formed.

Not fitted yet. Sliders on drivers window. Will be in my thread when I do!

Got over to see the car today, looking a bit green, anyway pics here taken with iphone so not the best but gives an idea of shape & gap..

Where you see my fingers, I have not forced them in, that is the actual gap as the ACW sit normally.
