What about legend or nsx twinpot callipers they are good
They're 4 pots. The Wilwoods have larger pistons so they have a larger area pushing on the pads.
I think the Spoons use the same pads as the standard calipers so are slightly larger, but the Wilwoods are around £200 cheaper, and the pads are around 1/2 the price for the same compound.
Legend/ATR calipers are 3.91sq.in to the EK9s 3.94sq.in, the NSX calipers are even smaller at 3.52sq.in.
So no quantifiable performance gain with 282mm discs, but a lot of extra weight. Not worth it IMO.
so they will fit under oem 15" wheels and what are they like on track use.
Just have a look on here for those who've fitted them. Everyone thinks they're brilliant.
I've got a similar setup on my MX5 and it means I dont get fade, I can brake later and harder and get a much better pedal feel
Can I run these w 16" SSR GTV02s?
I echo what @Civicfacelift said. Check the templates. Most of the wilwood kits have templates you can print off to check clearance. I have 4 pot wilwoods fitting with 15" wheels but it all depends on wheel width ,offset etc.
