*Not sure how many people on here would find this useful, but there may be a few interested*

Hey Everyone,

I recently reached out to a company in the UK about having a custom gauge cluster overlay made for my CTR cluster. While it is not that huge of a deal to live with driving a KM/H cluster in a MPH world, it does become a little bit of an annoyance.

The initial quote that I received, for a single 100% replica center gauge face overlay in MPH, is about $300 shipped. But I am working with them to see if they are able to do a tiered deal for a group order.

It would be a 100% direct replacement for the EK9 CTR cluster center gauge. The company uses OEM standards and methods for their manufacturing, and does a lot of work for high-end importers of Porsche, Ferrari, etc.

Would anyone be interested in this? If so, I can begin to hash out the details with the company and send in my gauge overlay for the replica to be designed.

I'm hoping to be able to get the per unit price down to ~$100 for a group order.

Is there anyone near Leeds, West Yorkshire that would be interested in offering your gauge overlay for the design phase? Otherwise I will be sending mine around December, in the off-season.

I just got the bulk buy figures and 10 or more would be ~$100 shipped to your door for US guys.

We just fit electronic speedo converters and keep the oem ek9 dash. All reads in miles instead of km.

so for 20mph, it would read 20km/h in the cluster? Rather than having to know that 32km/h is about 20mph?

Do you have a link for where to buy the ones you guys use?

Yes instead of 20 km/h it will actually be 20 mph. If your really fussed you can cover up the "k" of km/h so it looks like m/h.
Just search for speedo converter on eBay or email Eurospec2000 as they used to supply me.
I have loads of converters for ->95 Hondas but none left for 96->

This is what my converted cars look like

Interesting, I just shot them an email. I'll see how much it is to have one shipped to the US.

I think the overlay is still the cleanest method, the only thing would be that the ODO would still read in km. Is it possible to set up the converter just to change the odometer?

If you convert these for European spec, are you interested in getting in on the bulk order?
