I really want to know something about EK9 fuel capacity just for any case. I have filled the tank once up to the neck to see where the fuel needle on the gauge will go, and it went just above the "F". Obviously I could not check for the same case in the other end because if your engine stalls because of lack of fuel then it sucks air and you have to take it to the mechanic to remove the air. When the needle touches the thin red line, then the yellow indicator reminds you that your fuel is on dangerous level. However, the "E" is much below than the red line so I do not take the risk to ignore the indicator. Does the needle have to touch the "E" in order for the engine to stall? :thanks: in advance

My MR2 is sitting outside now i done 35 odd miles on the needle lmao.. lets hope i make it to a petrol station today lol :nerv:

In my case my car went out of gas when i took it out of the port, they needle was way down from the E!

So the engine stalls when the needle goes below E?

mine is well below the E, just when it gets to the light... roughly say okay i got 30 more miles... average car is 40 but i always be safe and say 30.. so if your clock is at 45,000 just dont let it go below 45,030.. if your not a petrol station you are ****ed lol :p

in my saxo its filled up with £35! not alot and lasts a fairly long time!!

out of interest how much miles on average do people get out of a full tank on their ek9's ?!

When my car was stock i was getting like 35 miles per gallon

i get about 500-600 km a tank easily out of mine. the 100km difference depends on how heavy my right foot gets!! :D

If however, your right foot becomes way too heavy.....then I say you will not be able to cover even 300!!

First off if you run a petrol injection car out of fuel it will not need to be primed to remove air. You may just have to crank for a few extra seconds.

My modded ek9 (intake/exhaust/ecu) does about 27 around town and got 36.8 mpg on a 70mph 200mile trip.
